Voice Mail
Listen to, forward, broadcast,
delete, or save messages by voice, touch-tone command or via your
personal web page. Voice messages are in industry standard MP3
format.
- Storage -
Tagline™ stores up to 200 messages in your inbox. However, you
can store a virtually unlimited number of messages if you choose
to have them sent to your email.
- Replay -
Replay the message you are currently listening to by either the
push of a button or by voice activation.
- Save - Save
messages for as long as you like, for up to 200 messages.
- Pause -
Pause a message in the middle of playback.
- Restore deleted messages
- Same as fax options, you can access all your deleted
backups.
- Access saved messages
- Put all your important messages into a "Saved"
folder that can be accessed separately from the rest of your
inbox.
- Play callers ID
- Find out the caller ID at any point during the message.
- Save phone number as a contact -
After listening to the message, you can add the caller to your
contact list.
- Broadcast Message
- You can broadcast your message instantaneously to your contact
lists either by phone or email.
- Forward message
- You can send to email or another Tagline™.
- Append forwarded messages
- Add your own personal message before forwarding.
- Answer message
- If the sender of the message has Tagline™, your reply will
go directly to their inbox.
- Return the call
- Tagline™ automatically dials the number the message was sent
from.
- Contact-based rules
- Transfer different contacts to different voicemails (e.g.
Friends and family vs. business).
- Number-based rules
- Transfer calls to different voicemails based on area code,
prefix, or specific number.
- Time-based rules
- Send calls to an "unavailable" voicemail: after
5:00, on weekends, or whenever you choose.
- New message notification
- Choose to be notified by email, pager, phone, or text message
on your cellular phone.
- Filter non-urgent messages
- Choose to have all messages not marked urgent sent to your
voicemail.
- Caller ID in inbox
- When you access your web inbox, the message is shown in either
the caller's number or their name if they are in your contact
directory.
- Mp3 format
- Messages on your computer are in .mp3 format, known for its
sound quality and small file size.
- Upload a file
- any mp3 or wav file can be sent to your Tagline™ inbox.

Faxing:
Fax documents directly from your PC to any
fax contact, fax machine or e-mail address, in order to create a
paperless environment.
- Receiving faxes
- You can store up to 150 faxes in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format on
your personal web page.
- Forward to your fax machine
- Simply by pressing a button or telling Tagline™ to
"forward to my fax."
- Forward to your email -
Again, by the push of a button or voice command.
- Send to fax machine
- Faxes can go to any fax machine in North America.
- Play callers number
- In time-sensitive situations, you can find out who is sending
you a fax, and you can move on if you do not wish to have that
particular fax forwarded.
- Save fax number as a contact-
When someone faxes you something, their number can be saved
on-the-fly for future convenience.
- Forward fax to contact list
- You can instantly send a fax to up to 100 people with one
command.
- Forward as regular or urgent -
For time-sensitive documents you can alert the recipient that
the fax is urgent.
- Restore deleted messages
- Tagline™ always saves backups of all your faxes, simply tell
Tagline™ to "restore deleted messages" and they will
reappear in your inbox.
- Restore last deleted message-
If you simply want to restore the last fax without restoring
every message it is available.
- Create fax transfer rules
- You can tell Tagline™ to fax all messages to your office
during the day, and home at night and on weekends..
- Notification of new faxes
- If you wish, Tagline™ will notify you of new faxes based on
your preference of either phone, pager, email, or any
combination of the three.

E-Mail:
Navigate, listen to, and reply to e-mail
messages via any telephone. Send e-mail messages with an audio
attachment to any contact from any phone. Forward e-mail messages to
a fax machine, contact or broadcast to a list from any phone.

- Complete automated translation of your emails to be heard over
the phone.
- Check by contact
- If you receive a large number of emails, you can check email
sent by a specific contact if you are trying to find a message
they sent.
- Check by date
- Receive emails from a specific date only
- Support for 5 email accounts
- Any POP or IMAP account can be set up for Tagline™ to
access.

- Check messages from your "work" account vs. your

Conference Calls:
Create a conference call with up to 32
people through your Web page or invite up to 4 people to a
conference via your phone "on the fly". Schedule
conferences in advance along with reminders about them. Manage
conferences on the Web, in real-time, or on the phone. Invite
participants by clicking on the contact or speaking the contact's
name.
- Schedule a conference
- Arrange a conference call for up to 32 people via the web
interface.
- Conference on the fly
- While on a call simply press # # and connect up to four people
to the current call.
- Add a party
- While on a conference call, you can add someone using either
their contact name or telephone number. You can add parties
either by phone or on the web.
- Return to conference
- You can exit and return to the conference call at your
leisure.
- Disconnect party
- Drop a caller at any time, either over the phone or on the
web.
- Exit the conference
- any participant can exit the conference by pressing * *.
- Web based management
- Get real-time statistics on who is connected by their contact
name or their telephone number.
- Mute - Make
certain or all parties only able to listen in on the conference.
- Notification
- Remind yourself of a conference call by email, phone, or
pager.
- Advance notice
- Can be set to automatically call you and add you to the
conference.
- Secure access
- Set a security code so that unwanted parties cannot enter the
conference.

Contact Management
Enter up to 2000 contacts (destinations
including combination of all phone, fax, pager numbers, and e-mail
addresses) using the contact manager. Tagline™ allows you to
synchronize contact and calendar information with most PDA's
including your MS Outlook™, MS Outlook Express™ or Palm Pilot™.
- Ask caller name
- The caller will be prompted to say their name for you. This is
a very personal touch for you to control your
communications.
- Play caller ID
- If you do not wish to have voice-screening, you can have
traditional call screening where Tagline™ tells you the
callers number.
- Caller ID off
- You have the option of no caller ID.
- Add phone number to contacts
- After listening to a voice message, you can add the caller to
your contact list.
- Read contact information
- Tagline™ provides the phone number, fax, pager number, or
email address of a contact.
- Create contact lists -
You can send one message to individuals in a specific group
(e.g. staff, family, etc).

Message Notification:
When you receive a new fax or voice
message, regular or urgent, you can have Tagline™ to notify you in
the following ways:
- Via email with or without attachment
- Notification through email, with or without the actual message
attached.
- Phone call
- Tagline™ can call you when a new message arrives.
- Via pager -
Tagline™ can send a notification page to several types of
pagers, including Alpha Numeric Pagers.
- Text message to your cellular phone
- Utilizing a cell phone's e-mail address, a text message can be
sent to your cell phone to notify you of a new fax and/or voice
mail.
- Full, short or no message report
- When you dial into your Tagline™, it tells you how many
messages you have. With full report it tells you both new and
saved messages, with short - only new ones. "None"
turns it off.

Calling Services:
- Say or touch tone all your commands
- With the power of voice recognition, you can use simple voice
commands to control all your communications. However, you also
always have the option of touch toning, which can be useful in
some situations.
- Make and receive calls anywhere in North
America (including Hawaii and Alaska)
- Whether you are skiing in Vail, in a hotel in Toronto, or on
the beach in Hawaii, Tagline™ will find you at any North
American telephone number. Neither you nor people calling you
will ever have to pay a long distance charge to call your
toll-free number regardless of where you are.
- Phone a contact by saying their name
- Tagline's voice recognition engine allows you to call any of
your contacts by saying their name and their extension. Tagline™
recognizes when you specify a contact's home phone, business
phone, etc.
- Call whisper -
While on another call, Tagline™ will "whisper" an
incoming caller's name. Only you hear the caller's name, the
other party hears nothing.
- Call waiting
- Receive calls on a second line by hitting # #.
- Redial last number
- with a simple voice command.
- Set up a conference
- You may set up a conference call for up to 32 people either
over the phone or on the web. Conference calls can require a
security code if you desire.
- Send a message
- You can forward a message you have received to your contact
simply by saying their name.
- Broadcast a message
- You may forward any voice or fax message to any size group of
people in your contact list.
- Send a page
- You can page anyone in your contact list who has a pager
without having to enter their pager number: Tagline™ remembers
it for you.
- Resend last message
- If there is ever an error in transmission, messages may be
resent effortlessly.
- Disconnect -
Press ** and you are disconnected from your call and taken to
the main Tagline™ user interface to make another call.
Especially useful in hotels and other areas where there is a
per-call surcharge.

Call Answer
- Customizable call answer rules
- Based on caller ID, time-of-day, weekday or date, you can have
Tagline™ treat your calls in different ways.
- Play greeting
- Record and play customized greetings for different
individuals, at different times of the day, etc.
- Play busy and hang up
- Can be a useful feature when you do not wish to be
contacted.
- Accept only faxes/voice calls
- In cases when you are expecting an important call/fax and do
not want to be disturbed.
- Secure pick up
- Can be turned on or off. Your 4-digit PIN will be required to
accept inbound calls.

Call Transfer
- Customizable call transfer rules
- Users can set multiple call transfer settings based on details
such as date, time-of-day, caller ID, and/or contact
lists.
- Send all calls to voicemail
- Perfect for when in meetings, on vacation, or when you simply
do not wish to speak to anyone. Tagline™ truly gives you
control over your communications.
- Transfer to a single number
- Tagline™ can transfer all calls to any number in your
personal destinations (e.g. home, office, cellular, etc.) all by
voice activation.
- Route through a switchboard or PBX
- Tagline™ can be programmed to forward calls directly to your
extension.
- Follow me -
Tagline™ can follow you by automatically forwarding all calls
to the last number you dialed from. You do not even need to know
the number you are calling from, Tagline™ will recognize it.
- Call blast
- Tagline™ can call up to four numbers simultaneously. If
these numbers are shared or public phones, you can program them
to ask for your security code before allowing the call to go
through.
- Transfer an ongoing call
- While on the phone, you may hit # # and transfer the call on
hold to any number in N. America, one of your personal
destinations or a voice-activated contact.

Caller Options
- Call you -
Callers may call from any phone in North America absolutely
toll-free, including pay phones.
- Voice/touch tone menu
- People calling Tagline™ have the option to say "find
him" or "leave a message", as well as simply
pressing a button.
- No menu -
You have the option to send all callers directly to your
voicemail or to find you as soon as they call Tagline™.
- Join a conference
- A caller can join a scheduled conference by saying "Join
conference" at the initial greeting. If you wish, you may
set a security code to gain access to the conference.
- Send an email
- You are provided with a @tagline.cc email address; but up to
five additional addresses can be added with the click of a
button.
- Leave a message
- If the caller doesn't wish to speak with you directly, they
have an option of leaving you a message instead.
- Deliver -
Once the message is delivered, it will show up instantaneously
in your inbox.
- Deliver urgent
- When the caller finishes a message they will have the option
to "deliver urgent" and the message will come to the
front of your inbox when you call in.
- Append -
Instead of sending a new voice message, extra information can be
added to the first one if the caller forgot to mention it the
first time.
- Review -
After the message is recorded, the caller has the option to
review the message to determine if they wish to deliver it or
not.
- Re-record -
If the caller reviews the message and does not like it, they may
re-record as many times as they want.

Calendar:
Your personal calendar on any PC or PDA can
be synchronized with Tagline™.
- Web or phone access
- Access your calendar from anywhere in the world via the
Internet or via your phone.
- Display options
- View your calendar by day, week, month or year.
- Add events or reminders
- Via telephone or web. If reminders are added via phone you
will have a personal voice reminder, if added via web you will
be reminded by text-to-speech.
- Reminders -
Set reminders for important events- You can be reminded by
email, phone, or pager.
- Advance notification
- Be notified from one minute to one day in advance.
- Snooze -
Tagline™ will remind you at a later time.

Misc Functions:
- "Read my contact information"
- Tagline™ will tell you all the information of a specific
contact.
- "What time is it"
- Tagline™ will tell you time based on your time zone
preference.
- "Wait a minute"-
When you tell Tagline™ to wait, all voices will be ignored
until you press a button.
- "Goodbye"
- Disconnect from Tagline™ by saying
"goodbye".
- "Call Customer Care"
- Automatically get connected to customer service anytime,
anywhere.
- Barge through
- You are able to interrupt Tagline™ at any time to give a new
command rather than waiting until Tagline™ has finished
speaking.
- Call detail records
- Real time display of all calls made, received, including
conference calls. Export records to Microsoft Excel.
- Change your security pin number -
via any phone or on the web at any time.

System Configuration
- Speaker independent voice recognition
- All commands are powered by voice recognition. This is
exceptionally useful when driving or on speakerphone.
- Touch-tone commands
are available if you desire as well.
- Quick access
- You can program your Tagline™ to recognize your caller ID
and and automatically log you into the system without having to
enter your security code. bypass you having to enter a security
code.
- Security code
- Your own PIN to insure that no unwanted calls are made and
nobody but yourself is able to listen to the messages. Can be
changed any time by phone or via the web.
- Default name recording
- People calling in will hear "Hello. I am the personal
assistant for _______."
- Personal greeting
- Just like standard voicemail, you can add a personal greeting
when you are unavailable.
- Custom greetings
- Record a personal greeting to replace the default one. Very
useful if you use Tagline™ for both personal or business use:
you can tell Tagline™ to use a more casual greeting for
friends and family.
- Advanced greetings
- You can set up to four additional greetings for special
circumstances such as after hours, extended absence, or busy.
